Top 10 Favorites for First Time Home Buyers

Over the course of the next 3 days I'm going to do a post per day on the top 10 items in different categories I feel are need to have's when buying your first home even if you aren't planning on doing any work to your house.  Buying your first home can be scary (it hasn't even been a year since we bought ours), but when you go in prepared it definitely makes it a smoother transition.

This series is really going to focus in on the basics of the things you will need when buying a home.  Now take into consideration that I'm basing this information off owning a detached single family home, but most of the items should work even if you buying on the total opposite end of the spectrum in something like a condo.  I'm going to cover these categories in the Top 10 Favorites:

I will also try to include some links to tools we use and recommend so that for all the new homeowners out there (or the ones who may have just not thought about that item), you can quickly purchase it online and have it when you need it.  There is nothing worse that to have something go wrong in your home and not have that simple tool to fix it quickly or be right in the middle of a project and realize something you thought you had, you didn't.

Make sure to come back over the next 3 days to get all of my Top 10.  Or better yet, enter your email in the subscribe box and get all of our posts directly to your inbox!

I hope you find this information helpful, and as always, thanks for stopping by!
