Painting the Play Room

This week I finally got the play room painted and I couldn't be happier with it!  As I've said before, it was originally painted this blah weird builder's beige like every other room in our house, and after living here now for 8 months we had finally decided that the room would look best in a bright, crisp white.  For the next how many ever years, it will be the play room and eventually become the game room once Bailey is old enough to be keeping her stuff in her room.

Here is the room before...

Just blah...  I mean the color really doesn't even go well with our beautiful wood floors...

So the color we chose was from Sherwin Williams of course and was the color Snowbound.  Out of all of the white shades it was the one closest to a pure, bright white with minimal hints of any other shade.  HERE is a link to the Sherwin Williams website for the color but the image online is showing up a little creamy and not the bright white it actually is in person.

Here are the during pictures of painting...

And this is what happens when you decide to paint a 3 year old's play room (minus most of the furniture AND some of the toys that that got moved to the entry)...

Tomorrow, I'll have the finished product uploaded!  I hope you enjoyed this painting adventure, and as always, thanks for stopping by!
