How To Paint Walls Without Purchasing an Extension Rod

Have you ever been intimidated by painting walls with really high ceilings?  Were you worried you couldn't reach without a huge ladder or just not motivated to constantly go up and down the ladder with a short handled paint roller?  Or just felt like not purchasing the extension rod for your paint roller (either for the cost or the time to drive to the store)?  Well I have a surprise for you!  I have a way to paint those walls without the need constant ladder moving or those expensive roller extenders!

Thanks to my genius father I was able to paint my living room with it's highest peak at about 18 feet in the center in just a few hours of actual labor (minus drying time between coats)!  Are you wondering how I did it yet??

Do you have one of these?

Yes that's a plain ol' broom...do you have one?  If so, then you have all you need to paint that super tall walls!!

Step 1: Unscrew the broom handle from the head of the broom.

Step 2: Screw it into the handle of the paint roller.

Step 3: Paint from the ground with your extended paint roller without spending any extra cash!!!!

So maybe I'm a little more excited that most about this crazy phenomenon, however, if I would have known this years ago I would have saved SOOOO much time going up and down the ladder 100+ times just to move over enough to reach.

Note: You will still have to go up the ladder to cut in at the ceiling, but that didn't take long at all :)
