Prayers for Ft. Hood

As some of you may know, I am a military wife.  Well, let me restate that, I am a PROUD military wife.  My husband is a soldier and I will always support him along with all of his brothers and sisters in uniform no matter the branch.  Today there was a horrible tragedy on the post we moved from...Ft. Hood, Tx.  Without too many details (that I have gathered from the news on our TV right now), there was a soldier who shot and killed 4 (so far) and injured 14.

No one will ever understand the pain of losing a loved one that quickly to something so horrendous unless it's happened to you.  I cannot imagine the fear around Ft. Hood right now but I wish I could hug the necks of all the friends we had there.  I am going to ask you, the person reading this post, to do me a favor.  Are you ready?  No matter you're religion or beliefs, will you say a prayer or a kind thought to the wind for the families involved in this awful event.  It takes just a little bit of time to stop what you're doing and wish them peace and healing.  Then do me another favor.  I know it seems like I'm asking a lot in this post, but I promise this won't take long either.  Go hug your loved ones whether it be your husband, wife, son, daughter, dog, cat, grandma, grandpa, mom, dad, aunt, uncle, etc.  Just hug them and tell them, "I love you."  That little gesture and those three little words will mean more to that person and more to your heart than you may ever realize.

And if you are reading this, I wish I could hug your neck and I thank the Lord for you.  You are amazing.
