Dining Room Tour

In hopes to try to get as many of the before room tours done as possible, here is our dining room as it is now.  Everything is very plain and simple at this point and there is quite a bit to do in here.  I'll get to more details of the individual projects when you see the pictures in the dining room tour.  Let's get started!

This is the view from the opening between the game/play room and the dining room.  As you can see, it's still the same weird builder's beige as the rest of the "un" painted rooms but we are having a hard time deciding on a color.

We are IN LOVE with our farmhouse table we inherited (really asked for in our offer for $1) from the previous homeowners.  It along with 8 chairs we have repainted and moved to the breakfast nook were in the house while it was on the market.  It will be getting sanded down though and white washed to provide some more light in this room.

This is the first piece of furniture Adam and I bought together.  It's a buffet we got 4 years ago from The Dump (furniture store) because we didn't have enough storage for our wedding gifts :)  I still love the look of it yet we rarely have even the top rows filled with wine.

As you can see, we have bought a gallon of paint but after doing a swatch I wasn't totally set on the color...

We originally had the buffet on this wall but it really closed off the room so we moved it to the other wall.  Those frames I bought years ago after we got married to display some of our beautiful wedding photos. :)

That's a picture of a faded cowboy on a saddle in a more modern frame.  A lovely mix of mine and my husband's styles.

This super sweet wall art was built and painted by my super sweet daddy :)

And if you look directly above the dining table this is what you see...a lovely hole in the ceiling because our guest bath tub leaked from the overflow drain and through the flooring above.  Hence why the guest bath is going to be a total gut job.  The day this happened (like a month after we bought the house) could have qualified as one of the top worst days in my life...literally.

I hope you enjoyed this room tour, and as always, thanks for stopping by!
