How To Add a Pin It Hover Button

So you're scrolling through websites or blogs and realize to Pin an image all you have to do is hover over that image and click the little "Pin It" button that's right on the image...ingenious right?! Well now you can have that too!  Pinterest has become such a huge part of blogging and getting brands out there that it's almost imperative to have a Pin It button right on your images.  So here's how you do it!

This is a pretty easy process using the official Pin It button.  So don't be terrified to do it, but don't wait!  This is something you need to do ASAP!

Step 1: Log in to Pinterest and click the plus sign in the bottom right hand corner.

Step 2: When the plus sign opens, click the link at the top of the tab that says "The Pin It Button".

Step 3: Scroll down until you see the Widget Builders and click on the link that says "Add a Pin It Button".

Step 4: Click the Button Type "Image Hover" then choose your preferences for the Pin It button you'd like.
Note: From this screen, you can build all your Pinterest widgets for your blog like board widgets or specific pin widgets if you want to link back to that or a full Pinterest profile widget to add to your sidebar.

Step 5: Copy the code in the box.

Step 6: Go to Code it Pretty and follow her steps to place it in your Blogger template.  :)  Let her know that the ABC's of Life sent you!  Happy Pinning!
