How I Organized Our Small Pantry

Over on A Bowl Full of Lemons Toni and her amazing team have put together an Instagram challenge of a month of purging and cleaning out the clutter in our lives with a daily to do for the entire month of October!  This is the perfect time for us home and lifestyle bloggers (especially me) to get moving on cleaning out our lives and homes.  I didn't catch on at day one so I've got a little catching up to do.  Let's get started! (PS There's a link to FREE labels from my baking supplies at the end of the post!)

Day one of the challenge is Purging Your Pantry...so here it goes!  Welcome to our pantry!
It's pretty functional and organized but not as pretty as I'd love it.
On the top shelf I keep travel cake and cupcake pans, the toaster, both slow cookers, extra juice, dog treats (in the red/white tin), and for now an unopened thing of flour.
On the next shelf I keep extras of stock and sauces, can goods on soda can holders (I think I got them at Target or Walmart), nut butters, and baskets for crackers and sweet goodies like marshmallows and fruit snacks.

On the next shelf I keep chips, breakfast items, pasta/bread crumbs, instant mixes (i.e. cornbread, gravy).  The handled baskets and the larger baskets with side cut outs are from Walmart as are the cereal containers.
On the bottom shelf I keep baking supplies, smaller baking extras like chocolate, small 3 drawer container for more baking supplies, popcorn, 12 cup coffee pot (we have a Keirug for everyday use), and salad toppers.
On the floor I have a closet organizer that holds all of our bulk baking ingredients...you can check out all the details on how I organized those plus FREE printables for the labels {here}!  I also have a hanging basket that usually holds potatoes and the garlic container with well garlic obviously. :)  In front of the baking ingredients I have an extra handled baskets that holds the garbage bags since our trash can sits right outside the pantry for now and a big metal tin for dog food (found it years ago at Ross).
Now are you wondering what I had to get rid of?!  Well luckily it wasn't much but it was more than I wanted to toss.  I got all that marshmallow fluff for free with a purchase so I'm not terribly upset it's getting tossed but it still feels like a waste.  It's gotta go though!
Sadly enough the most out dated item expired in 2011...those bean sprouts.  Let me know down below what was your oldest item you had to toss...let's see your trash!

I hope you enjoyed this pantry tour and toss, and as always, thanks for stopping by!
