Rugs, Rugs, and More Rugs! I Need Help!

So we are finally down to making rug decisions!  That's a HUGE deal if you know that we started in almost every room (except Bailey's) from scratch!  We have transformed, redone, repurposed, repositioned, replaced almost every piece of furniture and decor in our whole home (and all done on a strict budget!).  At this point, I'm ready to start deciding on some rugs for the breakfast area, living room, and dining room because the cold cool ok semi cool winter of Houston, TX is coming...at least I hope!

So today I got a steal using a coupon and some discounts at World Market on the 3'x5' Basketweave Jute rug for the entry.  I'm almost ready for a new reveal in that area too!  Just need to replace the ceiling fan with a new light fixture and find some new seating for our bench-chest...which I think I figured out both this weekend!  Sorry for all the exclamation marks by the way, I truly am that excited about all the accomplishments we've made in our home.

Now here's where you come in.  I need HELP! While I love the texture of the jute rugs after talking with my amazing design mentor (my Meme), she has made me realize that it isn't easy to slide a chair across those when at a dining table (or breakfast table...well both in our case).  So now I don't know what to do.

Here are the options including my original plan along with the sizing:

Breakfast Area (square table, 4 chairs, square room)

Dining Room (rectangle farm table that extends to seat 8-10 but usually at 6 chairs)

Here is the 6x9 Basketweave Jute Rug from World Market I thought I was set on.

Now I'm stumped!  I don't know what else to do!  I'd love to hear from you on any choices you love in eating areas.  Take note, the above pictures of the dining room and breakfast area are pre paint and decor :)  The style is a lot like our living room though...very light and bright farmhouse feel.

I can't wait to hear from y'all, and as always, thanks for stopping by!
