Well today's the day! It's finally here. Yep, it's finally time to share with you our BEAUTIFUL brand spankin' new guest bathroom! You have seen the process of Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4, Day 5, Day 6, and the final update!
It's like how the designers on home improvement/renovation shows let the homeowners stay involved until a certain point and then kick them out! Well I kicked you out, and now it's time to let you back in! I hope you enjoy because I know we do!! (PS All the details will be listed below in the Source List but you can also check out the previous posts for more information!)
Welcome to the new guest bathroom!
We added the mirror and the super cute towels Bailey picked out!
The vanity sits slightly away from the wall because it was the only way my dad was going to be able to make it fit without having to take away the drawers because of the plumbing. It doesn't bother me though because it makes it look more like a piece of furniture than a cabinet.
I initially wanted to go with a straight towel bar for the hand towel but when we put it against the wall it didn't fit at all so we went with the ring and I'm pretty happy with it...and those turkish hand towels...to die for!
I am in love with this super cute ring holder!
We hung two wooden shelves to hold bathroom essentials: basket with feminine products, wash cloths, hand towels, qtips and cotton balls.
Just because they are essentials doesn't mean that it can't still look pretty!
I initially bought this giraffe print for the guest room but I really wanted a simple white framed print in here and just thought it was so fun even if the colors in the print weren't totally a match...it warms up the walls a little.
You had already seen the shower, but we finally got the shower curtain/rod hung and replaced the shower head with a detachable rod to bathe Charley...he has high maintenance needs :)
You may have seen a picture on my Instagram of Bailey painting a canvas and this was her final masterpiece! We love having these art pieces throughout the house and she loves creating them :)
I purchased this chrome bath cart because we always have a problem with where do our guests put their dirty towels and this fit beautifully in the space!
The top shelf holds all the momma-bath supplies and the middle shelf is perfect for extra toilet paper and magazines.
On the back of the door we hung two towel rods for guests to hang their towels to dry and on the wall we hung two hooks for robes.
Can we just talk a minute about how stinkin' cute that hot pink robe is for Bailey?!? She has no idea it's even in here yet...it's a birthday present for her 4th birthday next weekend!
Above the door we have the sign that was in her pre-reno bathroom :)
