Navy Guest Room Part 2: The Plan

Today's post is about the plan for our navy guest room.  In case you didn't see the first post, you can find that HERE!  Like I said in the last post, we don't have much of the furniture for this room yet so there is still A LOT left to do.  I did find a bed on Craigslist today though that might be just what I have been searching for and WELL within our budget for this room.

At this point we just have the walls painted, have some of the decor bought, and have a plan for what we want to do.  Would you like to see ideas for the plan?  You do?!  Well good, here they are!

I am in love with the bedding and bed in this room!

I also love this Jenny Lind bed and you can see how good the antiqued worn wood looks against the deep navy walls!

Again the antiqued wood in a dresser but with a little lighter stain and those navy walls...

As you can see the plan goes like this:

  • Navy walls with stark white trim
  • Antiqued worn wood furniture
  • Mix of gold, white and mercury glass decor
  • Cozy but crisp white bedding
I'm so excited about this room!  Hopefully the bed I found will be what we are looking for!

I hope you enjoyed this decorating adventure, and as always, thanks for stopping by!
